Myles McGhee

I started designing in 2010, messing around with different forum layouts that supported HTML and .CSS, trying to make my profile look cooler than everyone else's. What began as tinkering with HTML turned into a full-blown obsession — one that's kept me learning, building, and breaking things ever since.

These days I wear two hats. By day I'm an IT Business Analyst at a legal firm, acting as the bridge between end-users and dev teams — translating feedback into real product improvements through Agile workflows. On the side, I take on freelance React work, building responsive web apps from concept to deployment for clients across different industries.

My toolkit centers around React, GSAP, Vite, and Tailwind — with a heavy lean toward animation and interaction. I'm currently expanding into full-stack territory with Next.js, Python, and Django. I'm most at home at that intersection where clean code meets something that actually feels good to use.

Outside of the screen, I'm usually hanging out with my cat, grinding ranked in Deadlock, wrenching on my WRX hatchback, or building furniture from scratch. The furniture thing especially scratches the same itch as coding — there's something satisfying about engineering something physical that actually holds together.
